If you’re like me and your fridge is full of hot sauces, chances are you buy jalapenos (or just about any other spicy pepper you can find) and sometimes you overdo it. Tell me I’m not alone!??!
Soooo when my jalapenos looked like they were about to go bad and there was no way I can eat them all in time, I decided to make a jalapeno dip (or spread)!! I really hate to throw food away and I love to keep things simple. So here’s a super simple way to save those jalapenos and create something delicious to use on your bagels, dip your veggies in, or as mayo on your sandwiches! 😉
5 jalapenos, deseeded (leave the seeds in IF you want it EXTRA spicy)
2 cloves of garlic
1/3 cup of water (you can use milk or cream also)
8 oz. cream cheese
Pinch of cumin
Pinch of salt (I only use Himalayan salt)
Toss everything in a food processor and blend until creamy. If you find that it’s too thick, add a bit more water until it’s at the consistency that you want.
