Are You Worthy Enough To Help Others?

How do you know if you’re enough?

I had this problem for a very, very long time and it was just recently that I internalized everything and I said to myself,  “Yeah! I am enough” I do know something that can help people! For my entire life, I have just been able to decide what I want to do and then just get started and do it. I never had a problem with that, but I also never felt like I’ve accomplished anything. I always felt like I haven’t done anything with my life. Even hough people would tell me “You’re so good at this! How can you just decide and do it?” And I got all these compliments, I still couldn’t internalize it. I always felt like I just wasn’t enough.

So, I am sharing with you the things that have really helped me in realizing that I am enough and that I do have something to offer to people. There are so many people out there that NEED the gifts that I have!

The first thing that has really helped me is that I started writing things down.

I was never someone to write things down, I didn’t keep a journal. Most people that I know always kept a journal, they wrote things down. But I never did that. Ever since I started writing down my thoughts, I am able to go back, look at what I wrote, and then internalize it. I always end up feeling like “oh wow! I said that?! Did I think that before? I did that?” I am able to see how I have changed and grown. I am able to see the gap from where I was and where I am now. That gap is all the things that I have accumulated, that’s wealth, and that’s a HUGE proof of how much I’ve accomplished.

So my friend, if you keep saying to yourself, “I have nothing to offer” and “I can’t help people,” “I don’t know what I’m doing, and I just can’t start,” and  “I don’t know what to do,” start writing things down!

When you write things down, the solution becomes clear!

The second thing is, I’ve realized that it’s not all about me!

I stopped worrying about the fact that “People are not going to like me, they’re going to think I have nothing to offer. They’re going to think that I’m an impostor, what business do I have? What authority do I have telling people what to do?” Just stop it! It’s NOT about you! Imagine that there’s a flashlight on you and when you start thinking nonsense - me me me me me and what are people going to think about me - just take that flashlight and I shine it on the other people. This isn’t about you, this is about you helping other people. Are you going to allow the fact that you’re scared of what others are going to think of you, stop you from helping those that really need your help? There are so many people out there you don’t know who need your help, even if it’s just ONE person that you can help. Because of your help, that one person might do something so great that will change the world.

Don’t be selfish! It’s not about you!

You never know who is going to benefit from what you have to offer. So I say, get over yourself, it’s not about you! It’s about other people. Don’t be selfish with what you know and with your knowledge because it’s about them, that’s what matters. So what if a few people won’t take you seriously and they’ll talk behind your back? Those people would never take your advice anyway; they wouldn’t take your advice even if you were Einstein!

You only need to help ONE person, change ONE person's world!

Keep doing that thing that makes you happy, that one thing that causes a revolution in your heart because that’s your gift to the world, the world is waiting for it!
